Easy to spread

Due to the drought situation in the northeast nothing has sprouted yet, now with degrees hovering around the freezing mark I don't expect any growth until the spring. Good Quality Seeds

Wonderful, I would definitely use again!

It looks super green and healthy now. I like that it grows well in both sunny and shady areas since my yard has a mix. Easy to use and definitely worth it!

Filled in sparsely gown areas great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have large trees in my yard so many areas get spotty sun. As a result, my lawn grows unevenly and many spots die. I planted the Pennington Sun and Shade seed and it's growing nicely. It seems to be more effective than other brands I've used and since it's for sun and shady areas, my lawn looks more even.

Great Fix for Late-Summer Lawn Spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used Pennington Rebels Sun & Shade on our part-shade lawn, which had a few thin, dry patches at the end of summer. The seed took nicely-within about two weeks we saw healthy green growth filling in those spots. It blended well with our existing grass and handled both sun and partial shade areas better than expected. A few patches are still catching up, but overall it gave our lawn a much fresher, thicker look heading into fall.

Our weather has been weird past few weeks but the seed took well to the few areas we added it to for filling in the thin spots. It seemed to blend well with our grass we have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to overseed my lawn so I spread the seed out and in a few patches I racked up some dryer patches of grass and put some fresh top soil down with a good amount of seed. I watered daily and my lawn is coming along nicely.

Seemed to make our current grass fuller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spread this gifted product in our front and backyards in early September. We have pretty patchy grass in our backyard due to our dogs, etc. Even though we thoroughly watered, this product really only took root in our yard where the grass was already established. Perhaps we didn't prep the patches well - but I was impressed with how it worked where it did.

Too cold in MN, not sure if it would work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the product at the end of September. It has been a week or two since we spread the seed. We recently had our first frost. No grass has sprouted yet, so can't say if it would work or not. I think it was just too late in the season here in MN.
