Works given time and daily watering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pennington One Step complete Bermuda grass actually works to help repair bare spots and your yard given time and daily watering. I live in hot Texas weather so I water in the morning and evening. I can actually see the grass starting to grow now in the bare spots after almost a month of daily watering. I have bare spots under my oak tree however it has not helped those spots as it is too shaded there. The product does say low shade tolerance so...

Expected Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After following all of the directions, only a small portion of grass has begun to grow. I had a trampoline previously and the grass in that area had completely died out. I gave this a try, but it is very sparse. I expected a better outcome.

Great if Done Correctly

Perfect Preparation produces perfect performance. This is true with this product and essential for it to grow as described. Yes it comes with added compost and fertilizer but it will be just as useless as the dirt you lie it on if the ground is not prepared prior. Since I was reseeding the lawn I started with killing the previous vegetation and after the wait period I tilled all the ground and then mixed this product into the soil plus a soil compost additive before smoothing it out and water...

Make sure you water

The instructions are clear. Follow them and you’ll grow grass. It took me two applications, one in which I tossed the seed down, watered and walked away-no grass. The second time, I followed the instructions, was attentive to the watering schedule and started seeing grass a short time later.

Easy Pleasy Seed

This seed was SO easy to apply and the results have amazed myself. Just keep it moist and you will see results in about ten days. Very happy and would recommend.

Mad Buyer

On 26 March, i purchased this product. I had some bare spot that needed grass. I raked all of the dead grass and loosened the soil. I followed the directions carefully. After spreading the seeds, i watered daily. In between, we had a few rain showers. Today is Apr 25, there is nothing. No signs of growth, just bare spots. Worked great for me

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did exactly as the instructions directed. It was very easy to put down. I had a patch of grass that wouldn't grow. I prepped the area by raking and pulling up any weeds that were there. I then laid the mulch down and watered it daily. In just about a week, grass started to sprout and, now, we have grass where there was none before. I am completely satisfied with this product.
