What Customers Are Saying
The Pennington One Step Complete Bermudagrass Patch & Repair Grass Seed Mix appears to be an effective product for repairing bare spots and patchy areas in Bermuda grass lawns. Many customers reported the product was easy to use, with the all-in-one seed, mulch, and fertilizer mix making application straightforward. A majority of reviewers saw good results, with the grass growing in quickly and blending well with their existing lawn, particularly in areas that received a lot of sun and heat. However, a few reviewers had less success, citing issues like slow germination or no growth at all, suggesting that following the instructions closely, including proper watering, was key to getting good results.

Easy to use, great for the yard
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the one step nature of this product. For someone with not a lot of extra time to spare on yard maintenance, this did the trick for me. It helped fill in bare spots in my Bermuda grass. This was the first time I had ever used a product like this and I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used any products liked this so I have nothing to compare it too. It is working very well. We had several bare areas in the yard and this has filled them in nicely. I would highly recommend this product. I was not aware of this product before I used it so I did not know what to expect. It has excepted my expectations.

Easy to use, great product.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pennington 1 Step Bermuda Mulch is a great concept, having grass seed, fertilizer and mulch all in one product. Which makes it very easy to use: just rake up the area you want to seed over, apply the product, and then water regularly. Even with heavy rains we have had this spring, the mulch stayed where I put it. It also prevents birds eating all the seed, and changes to a darker color so you can easily recognize when it is moist or not. Very s...

I would not, not buy this again
Would Not RecommendI used weed and feed on my front lawn and raked out and pulled what weeds were left. I proceeded to apply the One Step Burmadagrass. 4 I repeat 4 bags and not one blade of grass after watering 2 X's a day and waiting up to 5 Weeks........Very disappointed........

Surprisingly Fast
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff will work - you just have to make sure you follow the directions to a T! Don't just throw the seeds on top of the spot - prepare the soil prior, and make sure you water it as directed. I had some trouble spots in my yard - brand new house so of course it's built out in land that was once undeveloped. Those weeds are hard to kill! But, I knocked those chunks of weeds out with a hoe and planted the Pennington seed and it's like those w...

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one step complete Bermuda grass was easy to use. Apply to troubled areas, water and within a couple of weeks it will be very visible. All our bare spots are full and green. You can't even tell where we had to apply. Definitely will be buying more of this.

Grass seed
Would Not RecommendI purchased this product for a bare spot in the yard. I laid it down and watered it as directed. It's been about 3 weeks now and the grass is starting to sprout up. I put some in a shady spot and it isn't doing anything. I'm not overly impressed with the product I'm glad I got it half off.
