Good coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I had some bare sports in my yard and used this to fill in patches. It worked in both shade and sun on my yard with minimal effort to grow. It hasn't been too hot yet or dry so I'm not sure the longevity of the grass, but for now it is doing a good job.

This is a product I would buy again

Awesome grass seed definitely worth the money!

My husband put this grass seed down with our toddler so it wasn't done with a seed spreader, but it has been working beautifully and growing really fast and held up well to us walking on it to take care of our animals and our animals trampling it. I would really recommend this grass seed.

Great product

Easy to use

Quick and reliable lawn coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Pennington Central Contractors Mix Grass Seed to patch up some bare spots in my yard, and it worked great. The seeds germinated quickly, and the grass filled in nicely within a couple of weeks. It was easy to apply, and the results were impressive. My lawn looks much healthier now, and I am pleased with how well this seed mix performed.

Green Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We raked the yard, in preparation for the grass seed, right before a big rain. After many many days of non stop rain the sun finally came out. It was almost instant the grass started growing. It is growing in thick and perfect in all my shady areas. This is the best grass seed has grown in my heavily shaded. My yard is almost completely shaded and this has filled in all the better spots perfectly! We haven't quite got to the mowing stage growth...

I WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN

Simple and easy to grow grass back

Pennington grass seed did exactly what we wanted it to

I would use this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and wanted to use it on an area I've had a hard time growing grass. We broke the ground, spread the grass seed out over the area and covered it with straw. We watered it each evening. By the end of the week, we could see the grass coming up. It has been a month and the area is completely covered in grass and looks so much better. I would purchase this product in the future and recommend it to family and friends.

Great grass seed for the price

We used this grass seed to fill in patches. It worked really good so I went back and bought 2 more since they were only 19.99 for 7 lbs. to over seed the remainder of my yard. Good seed will buy again.

Didn’t love

They just did not come in very well in certain spots. The more shady areas it hardly came in at all. The sunny areas it came in really really well. Some areas didn’t come in at all.

So pleasantly surprised

I used a tiller to prep the soil added bags of potting soil and spread the seed. While it did not provide me with full coverage of the area I do believe enough patches got started to where it will fill in as I continue to water.
