Would Not RecommendThe advertised range is 100ft. I only was able to get 15ft range, Perhaps if I got another unit with a different code., it might make a difference. Another frequency code might help to get better propagation??
Design flaw
Would RecommendThis is the third or fourth one of these that I have bought, as I like the idea of my wife having it to turn a light on inside our house when she comes in after dark. PROBLEM IS, the ring that holds the remote on her key ring keeps breaking. SO, I buy another one, as I like the idea of her having it on her key ring.

My son-in-law found it on the Lowe's website, and I am thrilled. Just plugged it in, put the control on the table next to my chair, and I was good to go!
Works great for someone with arthritis
Would RecommendWe purchased this item for my mother-in-law who can no longer turn on her floor lamp with her arthritic fingers. I was concerned about her lamp plug being behimnd the bookshelf and not recieving the on off signal. No problem this product works from other rooms it has been great for my mother-in-law. She can now use her lamp again.
Short Range
Would Not RecommendI bought this item so that I would be able to turn on lights from my gate. The gate is 40 feet from the plug where I set the receiver. I need to be within about 10 feet for the switch to activate. So much for the 100 foot range.
