This is an awesome grinder, and for $39.00, can't beat it! I only wish it had a bag or case to store all the stones and the tool, but for the money I paid, I can't complain

Tough little tool

Don't laugh but I recently made the biggest DIY mistake ever. I glued poor quality indoor/outdoor carpet to my concrete patio. (in Florida). It looked great for a month or two until it became faded and loaded with black algae. It took me a while to figure out how to get it removed but the first real progress was this grinder's little brother with a circular wire cone you would normally use to grind rust with. Great Grinder

I was looking for a grinder that had a trigger pull start for ease of control. All I could find were those of higher prices that I could not afford. Found this one at Lowes with an excellent price for the features and was perfectly suited for my intended purpose.

Worthless

Motor started spewing smoke at first start and got worse for the next 30 seconds I had it turned on. Chassis felt extremely hot after unplugged. Not happy at all considering I was on site to do a job. Returned it back to Lowes for credit.

You Get What You Pay For!

I Purchased this grinder trying to save a little money but... as soon as i plugged it in I noticed that it had some issues. The brushes sounded bad right from the start making a rattleing noise. The trigger is not even close to having a paddle switch, I thought it would be almost like a paddle switch but it is not. I returned this back to lowes with no questions asked and I replaced it with a 10 amp DeWalt angle grinder with a paddle switch it was about twice the price and twice as nice.

Used once and had to return it

I bought this due to my craftsman grinder had died. I used this once and the power button stayed on, it would not turn off. I know the auto on button and how it works but that was not it. I returned it and bought the Kobalt grinder which is a much better design and quality for only $10 more.

Good value for occaisional use

I needed a grinder to do some small work and picked this one up. Adequate power and easy to use.

Very happy

I am very happy with this grinder. I only needed it for a small job grinding down foundation bricks. On another review I saw where someone complained about vibrations. When I first tried it had horrible vibration, and then I realized that I had the grind wheel in upside down; after correcting that it worked perfectly.

Best value on the shelf, no doubt!

Needed a grinder to level thick metal fence posts I had inadvertently cut off at a slight angle. Looked and stared at the available grinders on the shelf at Lowe's. Looked and looked, asked questions...looked some more. I wore out my old Makita and needed a new machine. Price, quality, ease of use are good. Not one but unhappy.
