Worked great easy to use Porter-Cable angle Grinde

I had to cut the granite counter top to install a counter cooktop. Although it was difficult this did the job and I'm very satisfied with it.

RUGGED AND COMFORTABLE

Excellent quality, runs strong. Has sufficient power at 7 amps to keep girnding and not bog down. Somewhat egronomic in design, is comfortable to hold and use. The smaller grip area and trigger make using this grinder easier than a full barrel grip. Also good if your on an all day project or use for work all day long. Great angle grinder

Great working angle grinder at a very reasonable price (I appreciate that). It is easy to handle and I used it to cut heavy corrugated steel siding for a barn, in which it handled very easily. Very satisfied!

used this grinder to remove flashing, started to smoke after 15 minutes of use. bought it 4 days ago.

Perfect for my limited use

I had one for over a year worked great.( I say had cause someone decided they needed it and other tools more that I had at my grandmother’s place to do work for her) so I have to replace them all now and it had being disable and limited funds.

Safety switch jammed up. Would not shut off.

Within first hour of using the safety switch device locked up. Could not shut off, had to unplug. Other than that it did work decent.

I am very pleased with this grinder. It is made in the USA, and very heavy duty. I am very pleased with it. I purchsed it for a specific purpose and it served me well. I bought a masonry wheel and used it vigorously for several hours. Very pleased!

porter cable 4 1/2 grinder

so far no problem. is a little bigger than my other ones so a little heavier. like the paddle switch on it do not like the ones with a top or side slide switch. and other ones i looked at that had paddle switch had hard to use safty switch.

not bad for the price

bought to use for my welding business and 2 weeks into using it it overheated and stopped working took it back and got free replacement then 4 months later did the same thing with the new tool i bought the exstended warraNTY SO RETURNING ITwasnt a problem but im not happy with all the wasted trips into town and lost production time because of it, i also fel like the gaurd on the tool could be designed way better i do like the rear triggert handle and 3 position side handle though, this would be ...

Best design

All grinders spin, but I really like the longer and thinner rear grip and trigger design. It provides easier control, enables a good grip, and a longer reach. All very important when high on a ladder de-rusting a chimney cap.

7 amp 4.5 in angle grinder
