Great Solution
Would RecommendMany years ago needed this timer/valve for a pair of bushes away from other landscaping in the yard. This fit the bill and worked great. After only 15+ years it failed today, happily, it is still available at Lowe's and in stock for pickup. Less than 30 minutes to swap it out for the new one, and I'm good for 15 more years if I last that long myself. Happy customer and like this Orbit brand, have another timer for other bushes around the place.

worked great for 2 days, then reset the times to 12:00. I reset it back to the original times and 4 days later it reset back. Brand new batteries. Stay away. Garbage

Don't buy. Junk
You would set the timer and it would work and then change all by itself so you would have to continually change it back. Junk. I through it out.

Do not leave connected in winter
Would RecommendVery simple for set & change settings. Replacement for identical 4+ yr. unit that now leaks. We left the previous one in place. Didn't think it was an issue with freezing temperatures in coastal NC. Obviously we were wrong
Easy to use
Would RecommendSimple timer. We've used a lot of these with our rental homes. Simple to put together and simple to maintain. The only thing we don't like is the dials. The dials themselves are fine but sometimes the dial breaks off on the inside leaving the dial to spin freely meaning you can't set either the frequency or duration. The whole timer is garbage since you can't fix it.
Won't close under pressure
Would Not RecommendThis unit worked terrific for ma for about a two days. Came home from work on the third day and the water was still spraying strong. I went out to check the unit and it showed as being off. The valve didn't close until I shut off the water at the source. Reset and tried again. Same problem the very next day. I took the unit back to the store and they replaced it for me. (Thank you Lowes) Well, the new one did the exact same thing. So I just returned it and got my money back. If the valve operate...
