The lowest price, but it also works great...

I needed to replace my Rain Bird irrigation control because the selector knob was worn out and it was difficult to adjust settings. I chose this model because it was the cheapest choice. My system has only 3 zones. This model can do 4 zones, which was more than I needed. Once I installed this control, I could tell that was built better and simpler to operate. So I bought it for the price, but it was a nice surprise that it was built so well.

Worth it

Purchased this to replace a very old timer. It was easy to install and to set the functions. Have not had any issues, worth the price.

Good Timer

I replaced my old orbit timer with this one and am very pleased with the new one. Easy to set and easy to read the electronic screen. Hookup is simple and straight forward. Would recommend for a small system. Remember...this unit is for indoor mount only.

Perfect

Simple and easy. Price is right. I don’t need to control my sprinklers with my phone, but I want it automated. This was just what I was looking for.

Sprinkler Timer

This is an inexpensive timer that is intuitive. You really don't need the directions. It is also affordable.

Affordable

I first purchased it because it was affordable. I ended up having to take it back to the store and replaced it with one that has it box since my sprinkler system is outside on the side of my house.

Awesome controller for the cost!

Bought this Orbit Easy Dial sprinkler valve controller to replace a very old unit that failed...also Orbit. The lifespan seemed great so I got another. Simple to setup, with two different programs that each run 4 valves; can run twice-a-day schedules!!!

Good for the price

Hard to beat for the price. Worked great until I wanted to change the water intervals. It wouldn’t forget the old intervals even with a hard reset. But for that price it was still cheaper to just go and buy a new one.

Simple and affordable timer for replacement

Simple and affordable replacement for the builder's timer that broke. Easy to install, but the menu can be improved and better. If no manual, it will be even more difficult just to set a manual for all stations for N minutes.

Timer does what it says

I have been using Orbit timers for twenty years. For the most part they are excellent. Once in a while they just fail, usually to corrosion from bad batteries. But, the operations keep getting easier and more intuitive. And they don't cost much. I have 26 zones and 5 timers. I would recommend this to my friends.

Easy and inexpensive

Replaced a Rainbird unit in our new house. The Rain Bird was so complicated that it took months for me to conclude the controller was broken rather than me being unable to understand the directions. Wanted something easy to program and easy to override. The Rain Bird would water during a rainstorm and couldn’t be overridden. It was also complicated to turn on system manually.
