Would Not RecommendOrbit configured this timer so that you CAN’T wire a rain sensor to it. They removed the two screw connectors on the bottom on the unit and replaced them with a quick connect snap in connector. So when you finish screwing in all the wires for the different zones and get to the transformer, you snap in the quick connect connection, there goes your two connections that you need to add the rain gauge. There is no way to connect the two red wires from the rain gauge that are supposed to go to the tw...

Would RecommendHad an old orbit timer that would not work for automatic watering. Installed new timer in less than 10 minutes and programmed it in less than five. Works like a champ. Easy to program!

Would Not RecommendI purchased this unit when I decided to install irrigation at my personal house. put first zone in and worked like a charm, set two watering schedules. week later installed zone 2, went to program for zone 2, nope, nada, nothing. THIS UNIT RUNS ALL 4 ZONES AT THE SAME TIME. You cannot schedule each zone to a different time. You can however set an A and a B schedule, which also runs all four. will be taking it back in the morning, get me a rain bird.
Your timer should not be running 4 zones simultaneously - we have specifically built our timers so this is not possible - so if we are understanding ...
