Reliable and durable

I've bought these several times for irrigation projects. After years in service, they are all still reliable and durable with no sign of wear.

Great product poor support

The valve is fantastic, but Lowe's no longer sells all of the supporting attachments needed to use it. I had to go to Home Depot to buy the attachment pieces that is required to make it all work. Multiple employees at Lowe's either had no idea how to use it or tried to sell me wrong equipment. Bottom line is: Go to Home Depot.

Simple

It was easy to install for a do it yourself kind of person.

New valves seem improved.

The old valves had a jar-lid top - neat concept, but poor engineering. They leaked and I had to replace them after only 1 1/2 years. I bought the new valves and they changed the tops to a standard 4 screw design - hopefully a better design. They also got rid of the gooey silicone with wire nuts. My big complaint is that the new valves are around 1/2 inch longer than the old valves. I could not just replace the old ones, but had to dig up and move the supply line pipe back 1/2 inch. Overall good

Works great and was easy to install. Only downside is it comes with a plug for one end rather than the ability to pass through to a second valve, and Lowe's doesn't carry the second type of adapter.

Nothing but problems with the manifolds. I had to replace all four units because the manifolds were defective. Some I had to replace the manifolds four or five times. Aggravating.

The best

This is a 3/4 or 1 inch manifold This is my third one. Only thing to remember is take it all apart and install Plumbers grease on all O rings

Do not waste your time! This product is junk.

I tried to save time like many others and got burned. Like others have said, valves leak profusely at selonoid after opening them up for the first time and no thread tape, glue or gasket can save you. Do it right and buy any valve but the green ones.

Irrigation

Not all parts included to transition to PVC piping. Also had a couple issues with "sweat-type leaks" where threaded parts coupled, to include one solenoid. Teflon tape solved issue.

leaking manifold

Started leaking within the first year of use

This worked great the first summer but sprung a leak by the next. The system was properly drained during the winter.

Easy install

I replaced a 35 year old leaking manifold with this one and it works great. No leaks and an easy install.

Absolute junk

As others state top of valves where selinoid is located leaks I now must dig them all up and start over. What garbage!

Works

After reading all the mixed reviews, I decided to give this three valve unit a try simply for the convenience. It is in a new drip system application. I was careful to let the design and the O-rings do their job. I did not use Teflon tape, I did not use thread sealant, and I hand tightened and just a little bit more on all connections. Needs more cross reference information to other manufacters products to reduce multiple trips for adapters and other needed pieces for project completion.

broke after 4 months...

The valve sprang a leak within 4 months of use. The leak was structural, and un-repariable. Lowe's only warranted the valve for 90 days so that is $50 out the window.
