Ran for years till it didnt

Bought this for front 3 lines. Manifold is covered in hedge so no sun damage. Just started leaking (all 3 at one time). Everything is tight, haven't messed with it, but major leaks. Will replace with same thing. Probably rebuildable, the front disc where solenoid is where all 3 leak.

Easy to use

Put together well and I used them in a line with 3 others. First time doing sprinkler repairs and these were self explanatory.

Well made

Very easy to install. My first time working with sprinkler valves and these were already put together. You can link them, so I put in a line of 5... just had to make adjustments to my existing zone lines.

Significantly lower install cost/easy future valve

Before seeing this I spent $100 on fittings to try accomplish what this did without spending anything more and exact duplication would have cost $200! Nothing I did not like except it would be nice to have a plastic tool to tighten and loosen connections but I tightened by hand and no leaks at 60 psi with surging. Also you can configure one valve feeding the header and use it as a main. I wish I did not have the pros installing buried valves who knows where.

Easy to install

Simple and complete valve set. I can add additional sets to it

No leaks, just high-pitched screaming

I don't know why, but whenever one valve turns on, the adjacent solenoid emits an insanely loud, high-pitched whine. This has occurred since install. I have a pressure reducing inline filter before it. I believe I may need an anti-siphon valve instead for each of these, but this was $65, and that would mean it's garbage and I would have to replumb everything since these are 180deg and the others are 90.

Get ready to buy a valve every year :(

I purchase this assembly in 2020 and have already had to replaced the valves twice. The valves stay on and do not turn off. Unfortunately, the manifold is plumbed in to my irrigation system, so I'm stuck with Orbit.

Buyer Beware: Manufacturing Issues

Bought two and both had solenoids that would not turn off. Got one that is working but have to go to another Lowe's to replace the 4th. Customer service at Orbit is bad and quality is poor so I'd suggest a better manifold.

Orbit Valve Manifold

Replaced Orbit manifold that failed after about 15 years. New manifold is larger and stronger, looks like a 1" manifold, not 3/4". Would have been easier if output pipe adaptors were available for my 3/4" lines. They are apparently sold out by this time of year. I did find an adaptor for my 1" line and it worked like a charm. I cobbled my own adaptors for the two 3/4" lines. This was a miserable job. The valve box is buried under shrubbery and I am 15 years older that when I first installe...
