I liked the spring-loaded retaining arms that keep it tight against the wall

It was just what I needed.

The panel is just as described and worked well to cover a hole in the wall in a niche where a bunch of phone and coax cables are. I'd suggest cutting the hole in the drywall just slightly too small to start and then enlarge slightly as needed to allow the panel to fit. It seems to have taken paint well without priming. It did exactly what I wanted it to do.

Do not put in an area that is visible.

Product was just ok. The spring did not hold the cover tightly to the wall as advertised. It was 1/2 inch new sheet rock.

Great product, easy to use, does the job. Will definitely use again. I’m a drywall contractor and him installed several of these for different customers. So simple homeowner can do it.

These are excellent for quick access to a valve you want to install or just doing an inspection and need to cover up a hole you just made in your drywall.

Easy to use and remove.

This panel makes adding an access panel easy and is paintable and you can even use wall paper over it. While using wall paper you can paper over it and leave it until you need to access electrical or plumbing behind it, them with a razor cut along the edge to easily remove the panel to access what is behind it. The installation is easy use the templet that comes with the panel to mark the size then cut the wall board and the panel has spring loaded flaps that snap inside the hole and hold tigh...

Access Panel

This product was easy to install. Not much skill involved when installing this spring loaded access panel. An inexperienced person can install this within a few minutes. I put this where a pre existing hole was in the garage to cover up where plumbing was. I would recommend this product. People of all levels can install this.

Nice for DiY’r

I’ve used a panel similar to this in a previous plumbing rework. Theses panels make life much easier for homeowners who tackle their own plumbing projects. Makes those holes in your closet neat and clean no more plywood scraps covering holes. Going to use this panel in a bath shower rework with tax refund this spring.

Easy install, easy access!

I had to gain access to the guess shower to repair the mixing valve. Knowing that future repairs may be needed, I opted for the access panel for easy access. This access panel (14”x14”) was easy to install! Ensure your opening is 14”x14” and align the panel bottom into your opening and press into place. Not the best choice

I think an access panel is a great feature to include in new homes and to add to existing homes once plumbing has to be accessed for repairs...but I don’t think this access panel is the best choice. This access panel does have a nice smooth front that can be painted but the spring that holds the flaps that are supposed to hold the panel in place is not strong enough to keep the panel in place for very long.
