I only needed the valves not the whole kit. I was disappointed that I had to purchase a much more expensive product when I only needed the valves which other brands of valves at different stores would have only cost around $20 at the highest price. I had to pay $50+ for the kit. Lowe's was convenient that is why I spent more money than necessary. Valves seems to work - to soon to tell if I will have problems with the product. I like the ease and simplicity of the quarter turn valves. This unit has the sweat connections which make water installations more of a professional task than a do it yourself type job.
