Quite surprised by the negative reviews. Most of the negative reviews are for "failure to repair a copper pipe leak", which is understandable. Fix it stick may or may not work for copper pipe leaks. I used the fix it stick literally for anything else, concrete, tile (holes), deck, etc. Hardens quickly. Pro tip: Knead thoroughly! If you don't knead it enough, it won't work. Spend a few minutes, make sure color is consistent, and you may feel the stick "warm"

Used the epoxy to fix a leaking skimmer drain on a pool. This is my second application, the first lasted over two years.

Fixes a LOT more than plumbing

This is a very versatile epoxy. Not only can you use it to fix leaks. I just used it to reconstruct a magnetic holder where the frame was broken off the base. Ugly but it did the job.

Didn’t work well on a wet galv metal drain pipe

It didn’t stick as expected - it didn’t really stop the leak.

Easy, Fast & Strong

I came up with this solution for repairing a broken off lap desk leg. I needed to use more than I first thought to make a big knuckle to surround the two pieces of metal & plastic back together. You have to work fast once it's mixed & warm. btw don't over work the putty (too long).

Amazing stuff

Highly versatile and holds tenaciously even in difficult circumstances. Favorite use is in my dishwasher, where a spot-welded bracket that holds the upper wash arm to the "ceiling" of the stainless steel cabinet failed. Fix-it Epoxy holds it in place despite thermal cycles, water and detergent assaults. Typically the patch fails in about a year, but generally as a result of a physical shock such as running a too tall dish into the washer arm. Would have to have replaced an otherwise perfectly go...
