Our back patio was a no fly zone after 2 days, it is amazing.

Safe, Easy to Setup and Very Effective!

Device was easy to setup and extremely effective! Noticed a drastic reduction in mosquitoes and much more pleasant to sit outdoors in the evening! Highly recommend this safe and effective treatment for controlling mosquitoes in your outdoor living space

High cost. Low benefit.

I don’t see any benefit and the cost is too high. Initial kit only comes with one packet. Should have three for that cost.

Effective Long Term Mosquito Control

This system is not an immediate knockdown of mosquitoes, but it will reduce their population over time. Best to install multiple stations to increase effectiveness. If you’re the type that doesn’t wish to fog their yard with insecticide, this is the next best control option. Give it several weeks to see results.

Not very effective

I installed the mosquito trap at the end of our deck 10 days ago and I can’t say that any mosquitoes have been caught. Not particularly appealing to the eye either.

When setting up placing the band was not as easy as it looks. I also have been able to enjoy outside for we have had a lot of rain since we put it outside.

Sounds Good in Theory, But Hard to Measure Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Ortho Home Defense Mosquito Kill & Prevent for a couple of weeks now, and while I want to believe it’s working, it’s honestly hard to tell how effective it really is. The idea makes sense, but since they don’t drop dead on the spot, there’s no visible proof that anything’s happening. The setup and application were easy.

Buy this today

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mosquito management system works! I have been using this for a little over a month and we can tell a big difference. The assembly of the system takes minutes and the only maintenance is making sure it has water and replacing the band monthly. The only advice I have is to place this away from where you will spend time outdoors. 

A must have for your home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great job at keeping this pesky mosquitoes away! I live in Florida and it’s a hot and humid area with tons of mosquitoes. This is wonderful to keep on my house to create a barrier to help keep them away. I love that it’s odorless and simple to use.

Simple yet effective

I like that it's set up so the mosquitos take the chemicals back with them to spread it out farther than just the 1 isolated location. Directions are simple and clear. Didn't take much time at all to set up. Placed it at the rear of our home to reduce bugs on the deck. Subtle design blends in nicely.

Easy set up

One of the tablets in the refill kit was completely crumbled, but that is probably something that doesn't happen often. As far as how effective it is, my house is backed up to a creek, so mosquitoes are very bad. So while this product has not completely prevented them, I do think it has helped with some.
