Has a strong odor so be careful

It is a monthly basis of replacement of the filter & powder, it does have a odor to it so don't open around children or dogs. I did around my 2 dogs and 1 smells like river water now, lol 2 days so far and it seems to be working already

I put it near our fire pit and it seems to be working well so far. Excited to see how it works through the summertime.

Refill packs for the Ortho Mosquito control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the refilled little packs that go in my Ortho home defense. They sent a 2 pack and each one lasts about a month! I thought that was really generous. They are easy to use and dispose of. Theres no strange scent. I love the fact that this system isnt letting out harmful poison into t he air, so its safe for children and dogs. Really loving sitting outside without the mosquitos trying to pick me up and carry me away!!

Get rid of mosquitos with no harsh spray!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, Ill admit it....I was a little confused at first how this was going to stop mosquitoes. I read all the directions and assembled it together. Boom! It does its own work! The mosquitos are attracted to it then take the poison back and it starts to kill the population! Its not a sprayer like I originally thought! Which is amazing, because you can use around pets and children...and I have both! It took about a week to start noticing result...

Placed the Ortho Home Defense near the front door today and immediately I noticed a reduction in the mosquitoes flying. Good refill band pack of 2

Station should be switched and refilled monthly so I’m glad I also got another refill band pack aside from the two that already came with the station. I don't know if it is going to work because I won't be able to test it long term before the review is due. However it was really easy to set up! I didn't really like touching all the powder to connect the piece in the middle with the actual defence stuff on it. I am a little worried about feral animals trying to get in it. Idk we will see if it works! Easy to put together!

Low maintenance and works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in a warm and wet climate this is a must year round. We use it while camping and hanging outside. While it does have a larger footprint than other methods, it does the job well. It’s effective at trapping pesky bugs and after the initial investment refills are cost effective. It was easy to put together! Would recommend for areas that are big prone.
