Preferred ant killer.

I've used other ant killers and they've left patties in the yard or haven't gotten rid of the mound. Not Ortho, it evicts the ants to another realm so I don't have to deal with them anymore.

Something changed

Largely ineffective. It used to work but now the ants move their mound and build a new city next to where it was put down and dampened per the instructions.

A great temporary solution

This product was easy to apply and helped eliminate some of our fire ant problems. We are surrounded by woods on three sides and they are determined to infiltrate our property. We did have a lot of rain after application, which may have affected the performance of the product.

Worked great for two months

This worked great initially. The person who takes care our lawn applied the mound killer and then the granules. I was amazed at how fast and well it worked. However, it did not last six months. It has only been about two months. My mother went in the backyard today and was swarmed by fire ants. She wasn’t expecting them to be back so fast. She is at the hospital now. I am not sure if it really needs to be applied every two months or we should try a different product.

Got this to use in my yard, seems to work well so far, will wait to see how it hold up after a few rain

Worth the cost.

What I like about this product is that it works fast and effectively just as the label states. Will purchase again.

Love this product

We absolutely love this product. In the past our yard gets tons of fire ant mounds but since switching and applying every 6 months our yard is clear!

The product worked as advertised, all traces of the fire ants gone within the stated time-frame. Important to read all directions on the back and follow them.

Not sure about 6 months

After adding this product to my lawn, one week later, I had a trail of red ants on my stove, bathroom and bedroom closet.

This product works great!

I have used this product for many (many!) years and it works wonders! I treat my property every 3-4 months (even though I know I could wait), because there are many fire ant hills in our neighborhood and I am keeping them at bay. We told our neighbors about this product because they had MANY mounds and now they don't!

Used as directed, this really works well.

This product works as described. Follow the directions, making sure to water in and you will be golden!
