[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ortho products are top of the line. My dad was a landscaper for near 40 years and he taught me a lot and this Ortho fire ant killer is great. We live in the desert so we get an awful lot of fire ants. More so in the summer time when it's warm. I would have to give this product a 9/10 only because it's not safe to use where there is pets.

The granules were easy to spread and did not create dust or clumps. After watering them in, I noticed fewer active mounds within a couple of days.
