Huge upgrade for our big house

I'm really happy with the coverage of this Mesh Wifi setup Their is hardly any loss vs a wired setup and setup was a breeze!

Compatibility issues with Apple products?

It worked for a while... it drops connections often and regularly. I can connect using my laptop, but my iPhone cannot, and vice-versa.

World’s best router

I had no idea how well a mesh router would spread Wi-Fi through my house, the Orbi mesh router has far exceeded any expectations. I had an unbelievable product I would recommend it to anyone.

Great internet

My son loves the Orbi in our house. He has his game connected to it and his computer. I'm going to connect his firestick to soon, so he has his own Wi-Fi in his room.

Works well, but slow to set up

To be fair, we got our Orbi setup secondhand, but I encountered several delays in setting it up, from extremely slow processing times on the app (to the point I ended up restarting the whole process because it seemed frozen) to mysterious satellite disconnections. Now it's all put together though, and it works perfectly well! Strong wifi through the whole house where a different brand could only get 2 bars.

Purchased the wrong Orbi

I purchased the Orbi unit used. It was the wrong Orbi for what I needed. This unit had a cable input and not lan connect for the input of internet. My mistake. I’m sure it works fine.

Easy Setup Great Internet

Setup with no hiccups and now have great Wi-Fi throughout house and in backyard.

Finally I Have Total Coverage

I have struggled with internet coverage in my home for years. The original structure is a 30’ x 30’ cinder block building that has been added on to extensively. Because of the construction I have never gotten good internet connections or extended internet in my whole home. I recently had to replace my modem and my old router and extender system would not work with the new modem. I had bought the Orbi system several years ago but never installed it. Ease of Use

The Orbi family excels at ease of use! Networking continues to be unnecessarily complicated and filled with jargon. All I needed to do was plug in the satellite, attached it to the network via an ethernet cable and all the other configuration was handled by the router. Easy!

Good

Setting the Orbi up in the begining was hard for me because the app didn't work on my phone for it, but with a computer was very helpful and has been great to use from then on

The NETGEAR Orbi RBR50 is a great router and satellite combination, I live in a rural areas and I love the coverage I get and how much faster my internet got as soon as I installed this

Works great

We are very happy with Orbi. In our old house, we were unable to get strong signals upstairs until we added the Orbi mesh system. In our new house, it is still effective with the main system connected in the garage and the one satellite was enough to give us strong signal throughout the house

RBR50v2

I have the RBR50v2 router and 3 satellites. Works perfectly for my needs. Important to make sure all devices are running on same firmware! Highly recommend this product!!

Amazing range

The range and speed is incredible. I added a satellite to my garage so I can control outdoor lighting. Works perfect and easy setup

Coverage

This has been amazing, no more dead zones throughout the house.

Poor performance

System is slow and drops wireless connection frequently. Worked OK when it was new. Gradually getting worse.

Works great until

I highly depended on this for five years and then it died, so I have a replacement with a used one they don’t maintain support or updates for very long.
