A solid, 2 unit, mesh wifi router.

Have had this router going strong for 8 years. Have recorded max speeds of 929mb/s with Xfinity on a 1gb/s plan. I can't report on wifi/wired performance with a wired backhaul but with a wireless backhaul I can get maybe 2/3 that speed when connected to the satellite unit.

Do not recommend

It took forever to install and access the user interface.

Very easy setup

At 75 years old female, I found the Orbi mesh was very easy to setup and maintain. It performs seamlessly and is protecting my network from unwanted hackers. I have it sends me messsage to let me know when it protected my network from being compromised. It sure opened my eyes on how many scammers/hackers are out there trying to compromise home networks.

Does what it promises.

One Orbi in the office and one in the living room. Now we have good wifi reception through the whole (two story, 2400 square feet) house and the whole yard as well. Very happy.

Pretty good!

This product (mesh router and satellite) works much much better than my old router. Only downside is the reason we got the satellites/ mesh router is because our house is old and has thick walls. There are some zones where the satellites will just not connect to the main router. But for the most part it's pretty effective

Orbi mesh

Works well. Consistently have about 15 devices running all the time, with about 21 total running at peak and no issues.

Great coverage

Been extremely pleased with my Orbi extenders. Have four of them now and my whole house, outdoor patio and garden is covered.

Orbi RBS50 - great for home

This system has worked out extremely well. I've got the router plus four satellites positioned around my property, and the wifi is always above 500 mbps, I've got over 16 devices connected at any one time with no lag, i also have the ability to set up a guest Wi-Fi, which works out great. Good not perfect

With one main Router and 1 satellite, we nave good coverage with one dead zone.

Does the job

This is a pretty solid Wifi 5 system. It gets great coverage in my huge old Victorian house with 2 satellites and a base, but doesn't have all the bells and whistles of newer more open source systems. I would also appreciate the speed of a 6E or 7 system but considering I've had this for 9 years I think it's doing great.

Excellent upgrade, easy install

Upgraded from an Orbi Wi-Fi 5 with 2 satellites to an Orbi Wi-Fi 7 with 3 satellites. Replacement was simple, with no issues. Better coverage and improved speed.

Good and Bad

My office is a remote part of the house and I need an extender to give me a reliable connection for work. I've had the Orbi up and running for a while, but due to some non-technical issues I had to disconnect it for over a month. Immediately I had a bad connection and my work noticed. I went to re-connect the Orbi and ran into set up problems. Overall I spent about 3 hours over several days trying different strategies. Boost range indoor and outdoor

This mesh system allows me to cover a large area outdoors to host events like weddings

5 star signal

Hard to believe but this product actually makes your internet signal pretty strong in area where it's hard to get signal.
