Smart Shower off again

As so many others have written, I also have one installed and it has been off and not working multiple times in the past year. The in shower wall unit has been replaced and it came back to life. Two days later, off again. AC power is verified on and I used my meter to verify that there is 12 volts at the end of the power supply cord. Worth its weight in gold!!!

I have had the two valve Moen U Smart Shower installed for 3 1/2 years now. Every time I step in, I am happy I did it. From a shower that stays a constant temperature to the ability to have it hot and ready when I step in plus the ability to play an occasional prank on a loved one (or hurry them along!), this product wows me. trouble since day 1

this product cuts off every 7-10 days....it takes me 5 minutes min. to reset it each time it cuts off (this past weekend i had to reset it 10 times!!!!!)....normally the screen just goes black....sometimes the screen looks normal but it will not work, so i have to reset it basically every 7-10 days at most....EVERYTHING on it has been replaced 3 times....still NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Love that the temperature can be set

I was sick of always heaving to wait for the water to get to the correct water temp. This Moen smart shower control keeps the water at a constant temperature no mater what. Then add in that I can now tell Alexa to turn on my shower as I am walking into my Master Bathroom is just a hole other type of special. I love this shower controller & valve. 4 Starts because it is expansive for everything needed to install it in the end. But I think it was worth it. A GREAT addition to my smart house.

Do not buy!

Twice in one week this has not turned on, requiring reset. There should be some type of back up option to allow you to bypass the smart valve so you can turn on your shower. If you have 2 showers in your home do not install this smart shower system in both! I would absolutely not buy this again!!!!

Quit working after less than a year

Had this for the best part of a year and it worked ok, but now has quit all together - no response on the control panel. Won't come on or reset. For the amount of money this thing cost to get and have install, it should last much longer!!

Piece of expensive junk.

Had this thing for a better part of a year. Hasn't worked right after month 1. Shuts off all the time. Getting new pieces sent to me already. Just a lot of money spent on another unreliable piece. "Smart"

It’s crap

I’ve literally use the device five times and it stopped working. controller doesn’t even come on. No troubleshooting support online

Not a Good Option

Worked for best part of a year - then started needing valve resets (great when valve is in crawlspace) and now after reset it just spits a little water and dies. No manual option to activate valve so shower is dead. Like so much smart home tech - just not ready for prime time. When u look in support forum I am not only one . . .

Meh…

The control panel sounds as if the speakers are blown. I reached out to Moen to ask for help and got no reply. On top of that, the Apple HomeKit is barebones… no option to control with Siri (even though every other HomeKit accessory allows this) and no integration with scenes (I was really looking forward to upgrading my “Good Morning” scene with a hot shower). Overall, I don’t regret going with this system, but I wish it was better implemented given the expense.

Unable to log back on to the app. I've installed it several times and still unsuccessful. Email and password are correct because my husband is still able to use app

Slow to update from the app to the product

I moved into a house and just used the previous pre-sets. After a month I started connecting everything and setting everything up and it works great and easy to get the temperature to where I need it. Over all great product just wish the app to product updates were faster and not require me to reset my app every time to enact the updates.

Good e-valve, setup instructions need help

Finally got it installed in remodeled bathroom. Physical installation straight forward. Instructions for configuration were hard to find, too brief and problematic. Setting date/language etc. ok on first pass. But, after rest, I couldn’t get to the setting to shut the screen off when idle and was forced to install the U app on my phone to resolve issues. Every configuration option available should be easily found on the controller itself.

I never have to worry about my shower being the right temperature. It is always perfect.

Beautiful Product but multiple individual storage?

I want to install this in my children's bathroom and wondered how much information it could store for how many people. I have 5 children. I use Alexa and they love using her so it won't be hard in that respect but how does it store the data for multiple individuals?

Spoiled Rotten

We recently did a huge remodel. We installed a double shower so we got two of the two port models. These are fantastic. The only complaint is the shower doesn't always run long enough if you use the "pause waterflow" option in the presets. It would be really nice if it would run until the temp stabilizes (3 to 4 seconds) before shutting off. Still, really awesome to be able to control the showers by voice with Alexa.
