Wax for Sealing Chalk Paint

This wax was great to use for sealing chalk paint on furniture. I used cheesecloth to apply it and it was very easy to work with!

used on dresser drawer runners for smooth open

I used this to coat the inside and bottom of the drawers on a heavy wooden dresser which had some drawers that would squeak when opening or closing. I used pretty liberally and it really helped improve the smoothness of opening and closing and limited the noise.

Great product

I was restoring an antique box and using this wax for the final surface really brought up the color and gran of the wood after stripping it back down to bare wood. Would recommend it as a finish for any piece of furniture.

Difficult to apply

The finishing paste wax was hard to apply. I would not purchase this product again.

This product works well, the only problem is the odor. Make sure you work with this on a well ventilated area, and keep the piece that your working on some place outdoor until the odor goes away. This is why I only give it 3 stars.

Like a car wax

Has a tint and did use after painting a chair. Works great

Takes me back to days gone by when Mom used it on everything. However we kids were the ones that were doing the buffing!

After looking at reviews, I decided to try this on my first chalk painted piece. Worked great! And it will last for many pieces. Only put a small dent in it after waxing two pieces.

Minwax paste results in good finished project

I use this product to seal,coat, finish, and protect my furniture I paint with chalk, flat or satin paint. The Minwax in NATURAL finish goes on clear and will not change the color of your paint. A little bit goes a long way. I use it on any stained wood also. Recommend this product it works really good to restore luster in the wood and gives a good finished product

I have used Minwax products for years and it is one of the best on the market. There is no comparison between this wax and the wax you buy at the supermarket. Minwax Finishing Wax last for months and there is minimal build-up and maximum protection for your fine wood furnature.
