Excellent Stripper not too harsh or caustic. You do have to apply multiple coats to remove varnish but using 0000 steel wool effectively removes all varnish

Would RecommendI followed directions with protective wear but eyes sticky after use. I did two rounds with steel wool but it didn’t seem to have much effect on removing varnish.

Would Not RecommendThe first can at the checkout leaked into my hand, so went t back to the shelf for a different can but on the short drive home it leaked onto the passenger seat of my car. Come on Minwax!! What’s up with your packaging? Don’t you check your work?? Very unhappy with Minwax.

Would Not RecommendLooked for Formby's and was told they were bought by minwax. So I thought the minwax product would be as good as the Formby's. Wrong! The minwax product removes the stain so you have to restain the project. Formby's allowed you move the original stain around and leave it on. Now you have to buy stain. Hmmmmm...
