Would RecommendNeeded an accurate perpendicular drilled hole to align a bolt set in several locations. Although a drill press have been preferred. You don't have the luxury in an inverted position (upside down application). Used the drill guide and "C" clamp one side..... Bingo perfect perpendicular hole. Chips cleared nicely and no evidence of wear to the drill lands.

Would RecommendGreat little gadget - should of had one long ago. Installing barn doors and it helped getting the holes for the roller brackets thru the door straight. And for drilling into the wall studs straight. Like the ergo shape for holding it in position.

Would RecommendGreat build quality and price was good. Works excellent for pipe and/or tubing. Ok for flat surfaces but has the inherent ability to shift off-center a bit if you're not paying very close attention. This product would be exceptional with some type of self-centering adapter. I will probably use it for round material. I bought this to drill holes for doweling in wood, but went with a Milescraft Jointmate instead. Much better accuracy.
