Would Not RecommendMaybe I received a dud. I used the guide to dril a 1/8" diameter hole perpendicular to the workpiece & 2" deep. I inserted the pin & discovered that the pin is NOT perpendicular, off by nearly 1/8" over the 1 3/4" run of the pin. EVERY joint on my handrail is now horribly out of alignment!

Would RecommendTried using a Drill Master drill guide for installing hurricane hardware on my window frames... what a pain. Picked this up at my local Lowe's and it cut my time per window in half! Have used on several projects since.
1/4” hole is not 1/4” it’s SMALLER
Would Not RecommendI bought this guide along with a 1/4” bit. The bit didn’t fit the 1/4” hole on the guide. As my daughter put it, “One of them is lying.” I got out a ruler and checked both bit and guide. The bit was perfect. The hole on the guide was just enough smaller that the bit didn’t fit.
