purchased this trim board to put over the door opening of an outside storage shed. i didn't have to paint it and there is no worry about it rotting due to the florida weather so i am happy with this item.

Re-purposed for boat bunks

Worked great when added to top of boat bunks with countersunk screws. Aluminum boats slide much better on pvc than carpet.

good stuff

This stuff nails like wood, flexible to keep tight against project, waterproof, and mold reaistant. I have 2 kids. They completely destroyed the wood baseboards in our bathroom by water damage. I had to guy half way up walls on both sides, treat for mold, and refinish. Finding this stuff was a life saver and a guarantee im not going to have to do it again anytime soon. Easy to cut and wasy to use.

Messy and Pricey, but solid trim / casing material

A bit pricey and very dusty when ripping but I have zero complaints when it comes to the finished product. These "boards" will outlast my house, possibly the earth itself :) :) :)

Perfect board for the Job!

Perfect board for walls not exactly straight. Board can be bent into position. It covers bad/amateur work making it look good.

Good for my use

I needed a corrosion resistant spacer to mount an Aluminum box to a Steel frame and this is perfect for my use. I have used PVC in the past with certain reservations. 1. cutting this stuff is kinda messy and the plastic sticks to everything due to static electricity. 2. Outdoor use can be tricky because of expansion and contraction due to temperature. Indoor non structural use is OK.

Assuring no water damage

We decided to put the PVC trim board down first to insure if there is any water issues the 2 x 4 studs won’t be get wet

PVC works well

Used it to replace some rotted wood. Involves a lot of cutting and carving to replace. Much easier to work with then pine wood. Recommend this.

Great product but a little quirky to work with

I bought the product to build some planter boxes and they were perfect for that given they don't need painting and won't rot. The interior texture and workability is similar to MDF, so I would not put much structural load. Also you would think they would be very dimensionally stable, but I had a few "dog's hind leg" boards. You will also need screws with a wide flute to grab properly. I found some Fascia screws that were already powder coated white so it gave it a very clean look.

Great for replacing sun exposed boards. Only on non load bearing walls.

Pc board

Used it as window trim in bathroom. No worries if wood rot now.

Does the job!

It’s strong. I drilled six screws into the board and it did not crack. I’m happy!

Easy to use, looks great

This material was easy to use. I chose it as a base board in a sunroom. The result is a clean look with no need for painting.
