Worth it!

Easy setup, works amazing! Some timers didn’t work for the pressure we have here and how much lawn is in a zone but this worked perfectly

Orbit one is better.

One of the valves wasn’t working and I did all the problem scenarios and never worked.

Works well and then doesn't

Returned my first Timer because it leaked so much. This one leaks less but all too often I'll try to manually use the hose or water one of the set up programs and it won't respond at all. I've taken it all apart and put it back and then it works. Some times I just have to walk away and it will be work on my return. BUT, I'm leaving for a month and am very nervous if this is going to be a responsible timer when I'm gone. I'll never buy this model again.

Great product

The product easy to use. I have only used the two timers for three days, single zone on one and four zones on the other one. They both worked great so far as described and design. I would recommend to a friend. This saves me a lot of time.

Broke within 6 weeks

Bought 2 of these as I reseeded 10,000 sf in 3 sections. Bought them a week or two apart. One quit working between 4 and 6 weeks. Timer showed it was on and the water icon showing but no water. Could not even make manual work. Luckily I maybe caught it and hopefully saved about $50 of seed and a lot of work, or I will be even more upset. Great timer for the DIY

Bought two of these to make a DIY lawn sprinkler system. This timer worked exactly as advertised and is very easy to program. Price was very reasonable.

Not too reliable

This is the third and absolutely last time I've bought this product. The first two just quit working after about a year. My expectation was and still is to set it and forget it, but the other two just kept turning itself off after a few days. They are supposedly warranted for 7 years, but there's nothing around to tell me how to get a new one.

Junk

Display went blank on second day of use. Removed the timer, and as I rocked it from side to side, the display would appear and then disappear again. Also, the clock gained over an hour within a 24 hour period.

Not realiable

Have had four of these fully digital 4-port timers. Not one of them has been reliable - the port(s) don't open consistently, even when manually selected. I've worked with customer service and "reset" them, but the problem remains. Sometimes the valve opens, but usually not. Result - a dying lawn and garden.

Excellent Watering Timer

Easy to set up, very flexible watering times (x days or days of the week), 4 outlets (zones) + 4 possible schedules so you can program and switch. I bought it to replace my Orbit 3-port timer - also easy to set up and use, but not as flexible - because the last three I bought failed - not the ports, but the clock itself reset by itself !! The Melnor seems to be much better built. I also mounted to my faucet easier with NO leaks.

Flexible water timer

This product meets my recycled water drip system perfectly. There are a potential of 4 zones, up to 4 variable times/zone/day for all of my container plants. I will be adding a fertilizer addition soon.

Works great!

I purchased this to help irrigate a remote plot of newly planted grass. In addition to this timer, I already had 150' of extension hose to reach the timer from my house, 4 shorter 25' hoses to branch from the timer to reach 4 Orbit impulse sprinklers. I configured the timer to sprinkle at 4 different times of the day (6, 10, 2, 6) and for each of the sprinklers to sprinkle for 20 minutes in succession. IT WORKED PERFECTLY! Grass grew perfectly. Every year replace timer.

This is a great timer for one season and the next it won't open all 4 valves. Before you know it in your second season of owning it, you will notice your lawn is turning brown in one or two maybe 3 areas you have it water. It's because it randomly stops opening the valves. I wish it was reliable but it is not. I store them clean and out of the weather during the winter, but nothing seems to make the ones I bought last. I will have to move on to another brand sadly.

Gets stuck open

I originally bought 2. I've had to replace 1 of them 4 times. All 4 of them had issues. 1st of 4 it kept resetting itself. the next 3 had the same issue - zone 4 would get stuck open, I had to manually turn off the device by turning my water off. Zone 4 would still stay open even if I turned the device off but the water on.
