Would RecommendI searched the internet and looked at the reviews of the washer before making the purchase. Overall, we like the washer. The only downfall is that it is noisy when you push the button to start the wash cycle. It makes a loud clicking noise two times and then the fill cycle begins. Other than that, it is a great washer.

Would Not RecommendWe liked the appearance of the washer. We like the warranty Maytag offers. We don't like that the water level is never rises above 1/4 of the tub, regardless of the size of load. The agitation cannot do a thorough job when clothes have no room to move around in water. We don't like the extremely loud, turbine-like, intermittent humming, clanging, knocking and whining sounds when in use like machinery in an industrial plant. Even with doors shut to the laundry, the machine can still be heard...
