Super Dryer

The sensor dry option works better than any of the prior dryers we have owned on our clothes, sheets, and blankets.

It's roomy and has a great variety of settings for temperature and moisture levels, so that I can custom create a drying habitat to match any laundry load. The 'done' signal can be made loud enough that even I can hear it.

Watch your installers

It works, but the install crew did not replace the old vent pipe that I paid for.

Love the monster load capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model replaced a Kenmore that came with the house in 2002. I replaced the heat coil and electrical components last year and it worked very well. We just bought a new Maytag washer and wasn't hard to decide to get the compatible dryer. Only been a few days, but both have had a workout and performed very well.

Great Warranty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this upgraded product to replace my eleven year old Maytag dryer. I stuck with Maytag because of the 10 year warranty. This dryer needs to be set on high and more dry option to get items completely dry.

Getting the dryer to actually turn on was a test of my patience. The dryer kept giving me a message stating that the door was open when it definitely was not open. After calling Lowes for help and finding out Lowes customer service ended the minute the dryer left the store, I was ready to load the 100+ pound paperweight back up and return it. I probed the mind of the internet and was told that the dryer needed a reset...unplugged it, tried again, and again, and again. The 3rd 'reset' allowed ...

They also picked up the defective washer and dryer to be returned to Lowe's for a full refund. The Washer leaked from the bottom. I taped paper to the washer and dryer to be returned to the Lowe's store in Redding for each item. I took pictures.

Frustrating

There are two buttons that need to be used to start dryer and they don't seem to work as the operating instructions state.
