Very nice washer & dryer with more bells and whistles then you can dream of. Purchased as a house warming gift for my daughter & son-in-law. Easy online purchase with the ability to schedule delivery for a later date. Delivery drivers were friendly, professional and fast.

Absolutely do NOT buy this washer/dryer set.

We purchased both units from Lowe’s at the end of November 2025, and within four weeks both machines started malfunctioning. Stay clear of Maytag

My major complaint is not that a three day old washer started leaking and did damage to my home, but the real problem is it took a week for a tech to get out and then another two weeks for parts. So what am I supposed to do for three weeks without a washer and Maytag simply does not care. I asked to talk to supervisor they don’t care either. I can’t believe that a company these days can stay a business acting this way again I want to reiterate I’m not upset about the machine breaking. I’m upset....

don't not waste your money

purchased it specifically because I have multiple dogs. the filter in the washer NEVER has hair in it but there is hair stuck on door and in the gasket from the door. stuff is not clean. its gross. never had this issue before with my normal front load washer. thought this one would be even better.

Love my Maytags!

I have been buying Maytag washers and dryers for almost 50 years. They get more complicated and don't last as long as they used to, but still my #1 brand.

Easy setup and fast

I went back to a front load and love it. This washer uses a lot less water than my old washer did. It also is wifi compatible so I can turn my laundry on from my phone.

Cheap price!

Works great!

So far so good.

It seems to do a pretty good job catching pet hair in blankets, and my clothes come out smelling clean.

I am extremely disappointed with this washer and dryer and the experience with Maytag. Worst washer and dryer I have EVER purchased. I purchased these units on 08/07/2025, and within just 8 months, they have already required major repairs. I contacted Maytag for service, and initially they could not even find a technician to come out. No access to pump filter

After only 4 months the pump filter clogged. there is no access hatch to clean it. the machine has to be disassembled to acess it. this is nearly impossible with stacking machines. The washing time is way longer than the time it says when starting the cycle. Pet hair filter is useless, disapointing

Leaking from underneath within 30 days

The washer started leaking from underneath it within less than 30 days. It was not the connectors or the drain. I had a washer previously in the same spot and had no issues at all until it developed an electrical problem so it's not the plumbing either.

Horrible dryer

We’ve had 4! In less than a year. Horrible manufacturing. Broken door, buzzing and thumping noises. 4th dryer is loud but no suspicious noises so I’ve just decided to live with it. Would never buy Maytag again!!!!

Stopped working after 5 months

Washer completely stopped working; Maytag repair came a week (yes it took a week to get on their schedule!) and they couldn’t repair it because Maytag or Lowe’s marked it as “scrap.” So they left me to sit on the phone with Maytag and Lowe’s for more than 9 hours over two different days, to little avail. “Customer service” doesn’t exist in either company. I wish I could give it zero stars

I am very frustrated with Lowe’s and Maytag. Lowe’s evidently only allows a 48 hour return window, even when you purchase the extened warranty. I received a faulty piece of equipment and I tried to have it serviced as recommended by Lowe’s and Maytag. There has been a technician at our house 3 times and the machine is still having the same error code that it was initially. Now that the return period has expired (due to me getting the machine serviced) I can not return the machine. I am out well ...
