Major Potential Fire Hazard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the range and after installation the burners were turned on and the range seemed fine. I turned off all four burners and the stainless steel boarder remained piping hot forty minutes later while the burners were cold. Either a defective unit or design and a major potential fire hazard! Totally unacceptable!

Learning curve involved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels premature to review the range until I've had more experience. The appearance is great. The function is quite different from an electric coil-top, which is what I'm used to. So it is a process of trial and error, figuring out how best to do even simple things such as boiling water, cooking pasta, etc. Most recently, I was making a stew and could not get the temperature down to a simmer, though I had the burner on the lowest setting....

Appearance of electric stove/oven in stainless very nice. I purchased an electric stove glass surface cleaning products at local store and am glad I did. Arrived with damage.
Nice looking piece but arrived with damage. 3 damages actually. Waited a month for delivery. Service was nice. Hopefully item works well. Dent. Scratch on oven glass. Deep scratch on handle.

Nice basic range
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new range was installed two weeks ago and I'm still getting used to it. It is a perfect basic model without all the bells and whistles that I wouldn't really use. I wish that the timer and preheat chimes were a bit louder, the under-oven drawer a bit larger and the oven vents not right next to the metal handle which warms up from the heat exhaust. It's great other than those minor things.
