Happy, but not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this product because I loved the aesthetic look of it. However, I'm not happy with some of the features of it. For the dual setting, it doesn't cook evenly. When you are done using an eye, it would be great if it showed which eye was still hot (good to know for families). The bottom drawer isn't easy to open/close, you have to be very particular about how to close it otherwise it's crooked. The oven doesn't cook evenly either. I only...

Nice looking stove

Bad Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cook top gets stained very easily and is difficult to clean if you don’t have a heavy duty type cleaner. The stainless steel streaks and is also difficult to clean. I have and had all stainless appliances and this is by far the hardest to clean. The oven seal detaches and is loose. The customer service is awful and to just register the appliance took over 30 minutes.

Great features

surface is too hard to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m thinking of returning it. I spent almost 1 1/2 hrs trying to clean the hot surface. The old one I could clean within 5 mins. and rarely used the glass cook top clean; just dish soap. I used half a container last nite and it isn’t clean yet and even though I was using the special scraper, it did not come out. I’m going to continue to clean today. I bought Maytag because the old one I had was Maytag and never had any problems with it.

The temp could only be adjusted 30 degrees when my oven was off 50 degrees. However I have not had the chance to cook something else yet, and you have now escalated to leaving me voicemails to complete this survey, so you get what you get. I have not tried the broiler. The cooktop units work fine. The time display...

Electric Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cannot stand the glass top. Stains easy and food is hard to remove without injuring the finish. Glass top is not set inside a frame. Takes too long to heat up. Inaccurate heat varies. There is no steam clean features on this particular model.

Steam clean...no, not really

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I boought the range in January of this year so I have now had it 8/9 months. It pops and makes noise as its warming up the oven. Its quite loud, and continues till its cooled off enough. Ive never heard a range do that. The steam clean is not helpful to me. It doesnt get burnt food off. I actually cant even tell it works at all. It seems ok to cook with otherwise

Dial markings

Maytag is the BEST!

great but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] that its hard to read the stovetop settings with a microwave above the stove and there is no indicator which burners are hot. also the beep/ding when oven reaches temp or timer goes off is too quiet.
