I replaced a lock box that no longer worked with this lock box. You could not set a code only numbers. If you pick 2, 3, 4, 5, you could open the lock with any combination of the 4 numbers.

Would Not RecommendPurchased this device for my rental. Programmed it with 5 digits by mistake instead of 4 and couldn't get it open. My wife bought another brand and told me that in her research she found that this is not recommended by realtors. There is actually a video on YouTube that shows how to pick it. I thought I was going to have to cut it off of my railing but I was able to pick it just like the video said. I hope Lowe's will allow me to return it without the box.

Would RecommendThe lock box is a heaven sent. It allows easy access for people working on my house. The house is secure. I do not have to leave the door open, come open the door for workers, it is a time saver. Best $36 dollars I have spent. It is a piece of mind. It is so easy to use.

A little cumbersome
Would Not RecommendFirst off— it worked like it should. No complaints there. I had an issue with the weather flap.. it was a little much for me, and it was irritating to have to put the code in to close the lock too. Just felt like i was entering the code nonstop, and maybe it was just me but the open button seemed to get stuck.
Excellent Lock Box
Would RecommendEasy to set the combo. Combo lock mechanism works well and smoothly. Well constructed, basically "heavy duty". Should hold up well in adverse weather. Lock arm is big enough to go around most anything I would want to lock it to.
