Handy safety and alignment tool for various cuts

This is a very good tool to have when woodworking as it give some grip and protection when using various saws. However, I did still have some slippage when using new wood that was still some wet and preferred push stick for that. Grr-ripper + 3D Pushblock

Quick and easy assembly and a perfect investment to protect your fingers. Assembled it in about three minutes with the use of the video which is very easy to follow. It’s well made and very thick and solid. The rubber grip is a nice feature that will assist in sliding. The tool adjusts easily with the thumb screws. If you own a table saw, this is a must have and a great additional to you being safe and productive in your projects.

Very helpful

I didn't know something like this existed until Lowes offered it, but it's a great idea. It makes cutting small pieces on the table saw so much safer and faster. I needed to cut a small block to reinforce a cabinet that was falling apart and this push block helped immensely with that. Simple but effective safety device

A simple safety device for use when cutting wood. Yes, I’ve always cut just by using by hands on a 4x4 or 4x2. Never had issues but I can’t help but think it’s still dangerous enough that one slip up can cause me to lose a limb. This is a simple product that removes the possibility of losing a finger when distracted. Very easy to put together and provides a nice grip on the wood block while keeping your fingers away from the cutting blade. Would not cut wood again without this.

Great piece of equipment

Great piece of equipment. I use this for my table saw for most of my cuts. Makes things a lot safer. I use it more than I thought I would and would highly recommend.

Good tool. It installs easily and makes pushing wood safe and precise. The three-direction pressure design grips the board firmly and helps prevent kickback—great for small or tricky cuts. It feels solid and gives real confidence when working close to the blade.

Control and safety

The difference is night and day. I feel more comfortable using the gripper than the old push stick. The gripper has an excellent grip on the material and gives you much more control. The gripper also allows you to pressure the material from multiple sides. Lastly, the gripper covers the saw, adding Safety to your workspace.

Keep your fingers

Do you want to keep your fingers? Then this tool is a must. I have always used push sticks, some I made and some I bought. Push sticks work but are still quite dangerous and prone to kick back. The ripper however works differently because you are pushing with a flat base and side and there is also a slide to adjust the tool to fit the wood. It is made of plastic and has a rubber base. The Microjig 3D Push Block The Microjig 3D Push Block is a great safety tool, well-made and smartly designed. It offers excellent control and keeps your hands safe. I'm used to working without one, so it's a matter of retraining my muscle memory rather than an issue with the product itself. I just need to make a more conscious effort to use it consistently.

Item is well built and sturdy. It works well in limited applications. You have to have clean surfaces for the grripper to maintain friction which can be difficult with sawdust at a table saw and you need to move the handle directly above the middle leg. Grr-ripper by Microjig

I’ve wanted one of these for as long as I’ve been woodworking. The tablesaw, router, and jointer I love and use all of these tools but have a healthy amount of fear and respect for each, this Grr-ripper definitely makes me feel more safe putting some space in between my hand and the cutting blade. The grip rubber on the bottom really does the job and feels very secure! I 10/10 recommend!

Beat push block on the market.

If I could give this push block six stars I would. It’s probably the best push block on the market. I have used it numerous times with my inexpensive Bosch table saw and I get very accurate cuts every time. I liked it so much I actually bought a second one so I can cut very long pieces without having to pause the wood on the blade.
