JUNK!!!! The first walk-in had to be returned because if was used and busted up. The 2nd walk-in shower has a crack in the seat area. The walk-in was installed along with the wall tile. When the contractor removed a label from the seat area there was a crack hidden under the label. I have been working with MAAX for over a month to get the crack repaired in the walk-in shower base. poor craftmanship

I bought this shower base at the Harrisburg Lowes. Upon opening it at the jobsite I noticed that the fiberglass was thin at the nailing edges and had a couple cracks in it which wasn't a show stopper since the drywall and caulk will cover it. Another thing I noticed was that the shower base was very dusty and had shards of fiberglass sitting in it. Again no big deal I'll just clean it. Just what i was looking for!!

I got this and love it. For the guy with bad wall experience, i have had rentals with uneven walls, professional installation would help, and the one with the damaged units, after 1st time why wouldn't you take it out of package for inspection before you put yourself thru all that. Anyways...love it, very pleased, would recommend, and have to friends and family who were impressed. Quality at a affordable price.

Got the job done

I read some mixed reviews about this product but still wanted to try it. I did receive a small crack in one of my panels and fitting the panels together was hard. For a DIYer this is an advanced project. The product seems well made and will hopefully hold up. The biggest thing I wish I knew was actual shower space you have inside. The product says it’s a common size of 30” but it’s more like 24”. With the side panels and pan lip you really lose a lot of space. Lesson learned for me.

Do NOT buy this product! Poor quality!

The quality of this product is below standard. The shower/tub base does not line up with the walls and the thickness of the fiberglass is so inconsistent I had to make my own trim so it would cover it up. There is a half inch difference in the walls where they meet up with the base. It looks terrible!

Horrible.

For the third time after 2 more returns, I got a cracked piece. This feels like a joke. Horrible experience. Still not resolved.
