Would Not RecommendI had to redo my lower level bathroom because of waterproofing issues that were needed. I was looking forward to replacing my tub shower to a walk in shower. I picked this style because it had a seat. That was the first mistake, the seat is SO big it takes up a good portion of the area. Then you have the shelves, 2 of them that take up another at least 3in. and about 2ft. long, who needs that much space for products? Would Not RecommendOurs broke down the side within a year of installation, now breaking in the middle also. It stains horribly and is impossible to clean the textured bottom. It's a tight fit
Would RecommendPackaged really well. It was tight to fit in alcove. An alcove rough frame in is 60 inches and the unit is 60 1/8 inch. This unit also requires extra studs and horizontal bracing to be installed from the standard studding.

Would RecommendI purchased this tub and had it installed about 2 months ago and upon installation noticed a scrtach/chip marking on tub. Marking on tub didn't come from installers, had to come from manufacture or Lowe's..just letting u know to inspect your product thoroughly before installing..All in all the tub is Hreat and the wife Loves it!

Would Not RecommendTo whom it may concern, I purchased a MAAX Vellamo bathtub surround. Upon attempting to install, right and left panels would not secure to walls or back panel (which was already installed) due to being uneven/warped. Upon inspection much of the fiberglass was not shaved off from the factory causing this problem. I spent over 4 hours sanding trying to fit that panel in.
