Would Not RecommendIt looked nice, but it broke after 2 years on the hottest day of the year. That is unacceptable! When I tried to set the temperature it kept showing the display self test and would run run the AC.
Programmable to day or to manual.
Instructions are not explicit, on my unit was defective and was a store return, but might have worked had my system not had problems that needed repair and had my repairman found them first!

Would RecommendI appreciate the large, easy-to-read display. However, it is an audibly noisy display - LCDs shouldn't buzz so loudly. I was impressed by flexibility of the connection options of this thermostat, and the clear instructions provided. You will need to download the manual, as one does not come with it.

Would RecommendI used this on a more modern HVAC with a variable speed compressor and variable speed fan. Worked right away and had the appropriate diagram for my situation. My only complaint is that the screen light makes a buzz when on...but it is only on when you adjust...so it doesn't buzz all the time.

Not compatible with all systems
Would Not Recommend3 different heating and cooling stages, overkill. It worked until we tried to use heat side. After consultation with tech, decided the board on the fan wouldn't work in "auto", would only work in the "on" position with blower constantly running. Not cost efficient and constantly needing to be reset. 👎👎👎

When I manually set the temp to 77 degrees, the furnace came on and the reported temp changed to 73 degrees, after 3 minutes the reported temp changed to 71 degrees. then it changed to 70 degrees. reported temp going down when the furnace was on. The unit ran forever and would only shut down for a few minutes at a time. It consistently held 2-3 degrees below the requested temperature.
