I am totally impressed-installs in a flash and works better than advertised- I would definitely recommend this item to any home owner. I have other dimers but to have one that works on LED is awesome--you can't go wrong here

Borderline with LED lighting

Flickers at low levels when used with filament-type LED lamps in a chandelier. Not great.

Nice, remember use standard faceplate

Nice product with VERY clear instructions, anybody can get this install right. Just remember it will need to be used with a standard toggle switch faceplate to cover it, so if you have a fancy faceplate for the decor switches you need to get a normal faceplate, so best if used in a single gang switch, unless you are using all normal flip switches. The glow is minimal, but it's there.

Too large for old style metal electrical boxes.

I have an old house and I recently swapped out for the old light for LED's and LED's light in the ceiling, The old style Lutron Dimmer I had would not work properly with LED's (no surprise it was over 20 years old) so I have to upgrade to a newer dimmer, well if you have had an old house you know the small 1 gang narrow metal electrical boxes that are used and couple that with 12AWG that is not that flexible you are not going to get this switch to fit. So you don't make the same mistakes that I did!

I just installed LED recessed lights and wanted a dimmer. Specifically, with the round knob. First, I purchased a switch from a store, brought it home and found out it was not a 3-way. It was in the wrong bin at the store. You need a 3-way if you have more than one switch for the same light or set of lights. . Took it back and got a 3-way. Hooked it up and it buzzed. Looked at the packaging and it clearly stated it was for incandescent bulbs. My mistake. Ordered one from the huge onlin...

Dimming switch replacement

Simple install. Great directions if it were a 3 way switch. All the necessary wire nuts included to make sense of it. And if I was lost in any way, there was an online video to talk me through it just in case.

Light dimmer switch

Unfortunately we were going to use this dimmer switch in the master bedroom but with our light setup I found out that the dimmer switch would not work with the ceiling light fan combo.
