needs to be centered

The tool is really saving time, but for my cabinet, I had to re-center the hole, as none of the holes fits in the middle of the frame of my cabinet doors.. I just took the distance of where I want to drill, then I move it little bit to be in the center..

Poorly Designed

The whole point of the template is the ease of installation. Unfortunately, this template design is a bit dated and really doesn't work with the newer cabinet designs. For instanace, the 128 mm cabinets is placed too far down on the rail. It is also very difficult to read the measurements on the clear plastic.

useless templet

I had the misfortune of purchasing this to place handles on my Lowes Villa cabinets(dont purchase). The templet does not allign center cabinets or draws. You will need a long lead pencil to mark draws. Simply dissaoointed i spent 8-9 dollers on this. Would be ok to use as a door stop.

Just line it up and get the exact measurements.

Poorly made. Plastic is warped. Holes did not line up with current cabinet handles and knobs. Spacing is on 1/2 inch gage, needs to be 1/4 inch.

helpful template

This template with it's many settings allowed us to accurately add handles and knobs to our previously plain cabinets. This upgrade was made fairly easy by using the template with very little measuring required and very consistent placing of the handles and knobs.

Bad, bad design

Gosh, this product is so cluttered up, not sure if I’ll be able to use it, toss it, or just put in a drawer and forget it Why? The designers trying to do everything with one tool, printed/embossed words and scales on BOTH sides of clear plastic, making it a jumbled mess trying to read and use it. Imagine reading a book where the pages are printed double sided, on clear plastic instead of white paper.

Must have for Installing Cabinet Hardwear

I didn't know these existed and ran into them on a chip clip by accident --very lucky accident. It has made the accuracy of putting the handles on my new cabinets a snap. The only problem that I had was the handles for the drawers. I had to mark the middle of the template and then measure the drawers and mark the middle of the drawers then line up the marks to get the drawer handles oriented properly. The template for the cabinet handles is a piece of cake.

Useless, warped, crappy drill bit. DO NOT BUY.

Piece of garbage. Both templates were horribly warped and I couldn't get them straight. Plus, there was no real way to make sure it was centered on the cabinet and level, so even if they weren't warped, it would still be hard to make sure you were doing it right. Just use a level and a ruler. Much easier and you'll be sure it looks right. Also, get a decent drill bit. The one that was included wore out halfway through my kitchen.
