Great lock but needs better response time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how small and out of the way the lock is. I only use touch to lock and use the app to unlock. It takes more time than I would like to unlock the door through the app and sometimes it just doesn't respond. That is an annoyance however when/if HomeKey is enabled I am hoping the response times will be much better and this review is going to be updated to a 5 start...

Touch to unlock dissent don’t always work.

The touch to unlock is inconsistent. I’ll have to be standing there touching the lock for a while for it unlock and sometimes it won’t even do that.

Touch to Unlock sometimes failed to work.

The touch feature is quite responsive to lock the door. But when unlocking the door, even after re-entering from more than 200+ meters, it sometimes takes more than 60 seconds wait time for Touch to Unlock the door even though I've set the duration for Touch to Unlock at 1 minute since entering the perimeter. Would want Level to support the Apple Home Key through the NFC to unlock ASAP.

Great hardware, but lacking software polish

Simply the best

Compared to all other automated locks on the market (and I have used a few of them), Level Lock far surpasses them all. It is simply the best and most intelligent design, period. I have many Level Locks installed throughout my home and they all work wonderfully. The ease of installation and simplicity of use is just amazing.

Smart lock that doesn't look like a smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife & I have been happy with the Level Touch lock on our front door. The installation was easy, although I had to make the hole in the jamb deeper. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to unlock the door by touch when we return, but we've gotten into the habit of using the Home app to do this on our phones which has been 100% reliable. The mechanism has a solid feel, and our cats recognize the sound and often greet us at the door.

Great design, erratic performance

This lock was disappointing. The product design is very innovative, but execution in use is lacking. The touch feature only works occasionally, and the geofence feature for automatically unlocking the door rarely worked for me...I turned it off and use the Apple Home app for geofence-triggered unlocking.

Level Lock - Worth the Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product; one glitch - when you leave home after locking your door you have to leave a certain radius before you can unlock the door. If you forget something and want to go back in, unlock does not work. In fact, that is the only complaint I have. The "touch to unlock" feature works sporadically

The touch to lock feature is cool but…

i always use my phone. One time the battery died and it locked me out. Not great. Also- I always have to close and reopen my app in order to use the Bluetooth. The lock looks nice though.

Disappointed

Product touch is overly sensitive. NFC cards rarely work. Changing lock cylinders is more complicated than needs to be. Moved on to another type of lock. Firmware updates need you to be near the lock. Excellent construction and good app.

Game Changer!

This smart device has eliminated the additional stress of trying to find my keys amidst the balance act of diaper bags/groceries/purse and baby carrying.

Smart and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the lock because its simple to install and look like a smart lock should. The Auto Unlock works well except when you do go beyond the set geo fencing perimeters. I can have it lock simultaneously with other Homekit compatible devices

Very Good Deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Level Lock - Touch Edition is beautiful. It truly looks like any ordinary deadbolt lock out there - no bulk. I'm very pleased with it. It can be touchy at times, however, and will report that it was jammed when trying to lock, or it does not readily respond to touch. I would consider neither of these dealbreakers, but definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, the fit and finish is excellent. I will be adding more.

Great, affordable smart lock option. Bluetooth range is weak throughout the house. If that could be improved upon then my review would change.

Brilliant engineering and timeless design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Level Lock Touch is brilliantly engineered, solid, and has a sleek, timeless design that blends in with all sorts of decor. It works great with HomeKit and the app is simple and easy to use. The touch feature doesn't really get used in our household though - if I were to purchase another smart lock I'd definitely buy Level Lock again, but I'd get the non-touch version.
