Trouble with key cards

Locked out the house three times

Have had three instances with the lock locking me out the house because the bluetooth just failed and would not connect to the app or allow the keypad to be used. Luckily the physical key & the NFC card could be used to open it and I had one with a friend. I now have to take the key & NFC card with me everywhere as I am terrified of being locked out again. Great Idea!

This lock is a great idea, in that it's very compact. Its behavior has been a little quirky in the past, but recent updates seem to have fix that.

NFC Unlock

The response was just robotic one, just fond in Q&A in your website. It took really, really long time to improve the issue by your new firmware. In fact, I already bought new smart lock in order to replace Level Lock. However, after firmware updated, the key card is working as it should be. So, I take a chance to give it more time. Good but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the concept and about half the time the lock will respond to our touch within 30 seconds. My wife wants to replace it but I still prefer the Touch to carrying a physical key, so I’ll give it 3 stars (from me) plus 0 stars (from my wife).

Good, but has hiccups.

HomeKit support comes and goes. One of my locks is connected to HomeKit while the other keeps losing connection.

Randomly works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Touch feature is random at best. I have set, reset, uninstalled and all of the other things suggested but it is still under 50% effective. I hve a lot of other ways to open the same lock, so it is not a disaster, but it is not the convenient and hardy device I expected.

Clean Solution

Very clean solution to bring automation to your door.

Looks great, expensive, not a good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lock looks great but touch to unlock is unreliable and needing to pull out keys defeats the purpose of buying an expensive lock. The tradeoff of bluetooth over wifi to save energy means the lock status can only be known or updated if you're near the lock, which again, defeats the purpose of a smart lock.

Beautiful & Unreliable Tech

The most beautiful, unreliable lock ever. Make sure you adopt every possible path for accessing your home so you are sure at least one works in the end and you don’t get locked out.

Great idea but doesn’t always work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t always unlock and gets confused with 2 devices. It randomly locks during the day when we turned that off in settings. Half the time to get it to lock by touch, I have to turn the knob, manually, to lock and unlock, close the door, then touch to lock. Hopefully in the next update, all these issues will be fixed. Very compact, but needs some work

Very compact, functional, battery dies w/o the expected warning under 25 degrees F for a few days, low torque to turn deadbolt which requires some tuning of the turning and ensuring the deadbolt moves in/out freely into door jamb.

Sometimes the touch to unlock does t work and that’s a bug that can be fixed.

Do not buy this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is not compatible with Google Home, It does not unlock 40% the time and I get locked out often. I have to restart the device often, the battery does not last at all. It is a horrible device.

The worst lock ever

The worst lock, only worked about 1/2 the time. Touch never worked. Tap cards never worked. Phone unlock was slow and frustrating. Everyone hated it. Very glad to no longer have this garbage.

Save your money, look anywhere else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is a cumberson lock, I do not recommend it to anyone. I have had several different smart locks now and this one is unfortunately the worst of the bunch. Dont get me wrong, cool features in practice but living with it is really terrible. I cannot wait to get a different lock.

Meh…

They burn through batteries. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it thinks it’s working but it’s not. It’s a good product when it works, frustrating as hell when it isn’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touch feature has never worked. After months of back and forth with their engineering team, they concluded that it was my issue. Don’t bother buying the touch version, just stick with the bolt.
