What Customers Are Saying
The smart lock has a sleek, discreet design and convenient features like touch-to-unlock, app control, and multiple unlock options. Customers appreciate the easy installation and customization. However, many report reliability and performance issues, such as inconsistent touch-to-unlock, Bluetooth connectivity problems, and software instability. While the hardware and design are praised, the software and reliability seem to be the main drawbacks, requiring frequent manual unlocking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really buggy even with the update. When I open the door and leave it open, the lock will engage automatically when shutting the door. Auto lock and unlock are both off. Only touch is turned on.

Level vs August
Would Not RecommendI have owned the level touch and an August lock. The August is significantly better in my opinion. The Level touch does not consistently open when you arrive home. It is also very easy to lock the door by accident.

Awesomely Amazing Product!!!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most ingenious design (like they say the quality of an Apple product). I can see Level out a lot of thought into designing the lock. No one even knows we have a smart lock installed. So many feature to choose from manual key, card key phone, auto open/close etc. Install and smart home integration was seamless for me. I have so much more to say, but will leave others room for thought.

Horrible - threw both away -
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Constant connectivity issues, horrible design and the bluetooth strength is a joke

1 year of experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s not a smooth experience as I hoped for although I try very hard to make it one. Hope next products will can work faster with HomeKit and can detect of the door is actually closed before triggering auto lock. Definitely will keep eye on what’s coming next.

It’s consistently inconsistent
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Touch doesn’t work all the time. I’ve reset it multiple times and it still doesn’t open when I touch the knob.

A ways to go still
Would Not RecommendThe hardware is very well designed and manufactured, the installation was easy, but the software features and user interface are terrible. The touch to lock feature always activates as I am closing the door because my elbow touches the lock cylinder. The touch to unlock only works sometimes. The app frequently says that the lock is not available. I didn't use the automated features, i.e. the lock motor, for 6 months because of all the issues I had, and the battery died. The keycards never worked...

It’s what I was hoping for
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great lock! Very happy with the performance and the ease of setup. I don’t really use the cards, but I like having the option. I had some initial range issues that were resolved with the “boost range” option.

Big technology in a small profile!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want a product that fits seamlessly into your home, look no further! This is the lowest profile smart lock that looks and works like a norrmal deadbolt but adds smart functionality! The design is unique in that the battery fits inside the bolt making it look just like a normal lock. I use it a great deal with Apple homekit making it easy to unlock with my voice and iphone or apple watch! Love it!

Not a fan
Would Not RecommendNo one but me wants to install the app because it runs in your notification bar. We tried the cards for entry and couldn't get them to work. Every time you accidentally touch the lock with your elbow or arm, it locks/unlocks by mistake. The biggest con though is you exit your house just to put something outside and touch the lock by mistake and if you don't have your phone to get back in, you've just locked yourself out of your house.

Level Touch takes it to another level!
Would RecommendThe Level Touch is great! So much better looking and functioning than the other Smart Door locks on the market. There’s other don’t even come close.

Best choice for subtle smart locks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a subtle smart lock that doesn't look like a smart lock, there's nothing else out there. And the level lock works well as a smart lock when controlled via the Level app. The touch feature is hit or miss -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And control via HomeKit (or Siri) is hit or miss as well...you need a homekit controller within range, and it takes a while or fails completely at times.

I've got two!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, easy to use, love it! The touch function is great for my arthritic hands.

I love this lock
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ease of use of this product is amazing. Set up is simple and the app is not complicated.

Not too happy
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That touch coming in only woks like 50% of the time and I keep getting a jammed alert on HomeKit even though the level app says close. the battery runs out fast. I am only getting like 4 months on a battery.

Touch Sensitivity is not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn’t always respond to my touch. I have to use the app more often than not, and if I knew that going in I probably would have purchased a different deadbolt.

Level Lock
Would Not RecommendNot reliable to lock/unlock. Often jams. Geoarming setup is not user friendly. High risk to lock yourself out. while integrated with apple, more work needed to make user friendly.

The Ultimate Smart Lock
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Level Lock - Touch Edition offers the ultimate smart lock functionality. First and foremost, reliability is key, and in this respect this lock doesn’t disappoint. I haven’t ever experienced any unresponsiveness or issues that you may experience with other smart locks on the market. All of the features are fantastic. The key cards make it so easy to offer a guest key that can easily be deactivated and replaced if lost. Integration with...

Keyless entry without the big bulky lock
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of the lock and love it more when it works every time. We’ve had some issues with it not unlocking automatically upon arriving at home and having to use the app to unlock it. Other than that it seems to work well.

Great product… few fixes recommended.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. It does have a few “challenges”: the touch control doesn’t always work. And there is no notification that the battery is going to die so there have been a few times when I’ve been locked out and had to use my emergency key. A simple app notification would resolve this. Other than that, it is really really well designed.
