Good cheap box fan. Did it's job.

Purchased to blow drywall dust out windows/doors during a renovation. Held up strong and will continue to use in garage.

Fan Comparison

After asking as store rep if there was a difference in 3 different 20" fans, he assured me that there was not. I being the sceptic, then asked why there is a difference in price? Any way, was in the middle of a project and needed to place 4 fans. I needed that fans in place ASAP, so I bought 12 fans, 4 of each kind. 20 in 3 speed box fan

we received it after ordering in online cause the store was out and we got it 4 days after they said we would and it was cracked and broken. we went to exchange it at the store and they were still out so now we are without.

like the fan , it works great and is a very good buy, would recommend to anyone, in fact , had togo buy another one , bought for my daughter. she loves it also.

Lasco 20" 3 speed box fan

Needed a fan to help dry the basement floor after my sump pump failed . This product worked fine and was reasonably priced . It was quiet and did the job .

The noise is the whole purpose of this fan

I don't use this fan for the air flow but rather to fall asleep at night. I cannot sleep in silence. That is why they have box fan /white noise apps. If you want a "quiet" fan get one of those other models. The box fan drowns out thunderstorms, barking dogs, lawn mowers etc. I LOVE my noisy box fan!

Cheap

The blades are flimsy. It puts out good amount of air.

Too light, falls over

This fan has good velocity, but is unfortunately so light that it blows over when turned on. I tried propping it up but it eventually worked its way loose and fell over every time. I could not leave the fan unattended for this reason, so I had to return it.

Good buy - price lower than competitor

Used same fan for years in our greenhouse. . Finally wore out. Bought new one last fall for our greenhouse. Needed to add additional fan to improve air flow in greenhouse to reduce crown rot in orchids. Bought another. Works great.

Works great!

I purchased the box fan to use in a window, and it works great. I am very pleased, surprised how lightweight and easy to handle it is. Moves a lot of air, and is quiet. Great purchase, and I'm also glad it is made in the USA! I am glad I purchased it, and would recommend to anyone.

A bit loud

If I just wanted a box fan that blows air, this is definitely the cheapest one which will get the job done. However, it had a bit of a high pitch sound that was just too loud for comfort. I like the sound of a fan, it's good white noise, but my girlfriend and I agreed that this fan was loud enough to make watching TV at a comfortable volume not possible. Ended up returning it and spending $45 on a fan which moves substantially more air and is quieter.

this is a excellant product for basic use. i bought it for my daughter's dorm room and she thinks its great.
