Strong , Cheap, and Easy to use

When the weather in the South changes from blistering to nice and cool at night we have always used 2 fans like this (one blows IN and one OUT to make a draft) to cool the house. We have one we bought 15 years ago that finally quit so we immediately replaced it with the same brand. It blows strong, quiet, is easy to use, and best of all it was cheap. Recommended.

Blows air....

I decided to get a new fan while my lo0cal Lowe's was clearing them out. Nothing fancy, just something to move the cooler night air through the house. This filled the bill, and is a bit thinner than the old "box fan" I was using. Not a silent fan though. I set it into a window and let it pull air from the back of the house, and blow it out the front. Works fine.

3 Speed Fan

Don't expect much, but don't expect to pay a lot either. This fan works good, just loud.

Great Fan

Love the size! Really skinny compared to the old square fans. Love also that it was made in the USA!

Stirs the air well

The feet on the bottom are nice to keep it from tipping over.

Does The Job

This is a no frills 3 speed fan that does what it's supposed to do. Since Lowes was sold out of other fans I went with this one. The price is fair but my only issue is that it is way too loud when in use. Being that its the year 2013 I would expect the technology involved to not make it sound like you are in the presence of a helicopter is not too expensive and difficult to achieve.

It's a darn good fan

For the price it's a good sturdy fan. Nothing fancy. Just a box fan to blow the air around. We have three of them.

20-inch 3-speed box fan

This fan will be used to flow cool air into a room that catches a lot of afternoon sunlight. Of course the first place we considered shopping was Lowes, it's our favorite store. Our product is simple and economical, and does the job we wanted. We always find what we want at Lowes!

hot stuff

The main problem with this fan is its stability. At full speed it tends to tip backwards unless supported. Otherwise it is quite useful.

Good value and inexpensive

Inexpensive and great value. Does a good job w/o a lot of extras that you don't need.

This fan really blows!

So to beat the heat this summer I purchased a couple of these Lasko 20-in fans. They fit perfectly in our windows and moved a lot of air so when it cooled down in the evening we didn't have to use the A/C all night. It is lightweight and is very stable. The only drawback in my opinion is that the speeds are not much different.

Fanboy

Its a box fan. It came with feet to prevent it from tipping over. Gets wonderful circulation in an otherwise humid and hot garage. Recommended.

Good air flow - VERY loud

It certainly moves air, but is VERY loud therefore I use it in the main living area rather than the den or bedroom. I recommend it for air flow, but not for quality.

Extremely loud on high speed. Noise level poor at all speeds.

Pleasantly Surprised

I expect box fans to be noisy but I couldn't beat the price so I gave it a try. First I asked a associate to plug it in and let me hear it away from all the other fans and it was not too noisy. I brought it home and stuck it in my window of my bedroom. On low it is a nice kind of white noise not annoying at all. On low it pulls air into the room very well and keeps the room nice without blowing you away. Med is OK for during the day but High is more than a bedroom can handle. High would be good ...

Falls over easliy

No feet to steady it falls over if you walk near it.

It's a fan

Fan is a good buy for the money. It's a workhorse that keeps me cool throughout the summer. Beats paying high electric bills for A/C use!
