LG was consulted and identified this as a misfit with the dispenser & sent a replacement identical to the original. It is filled with water cycle-end just like the original. The washer function is mediocre: items are not as clean as with my old agitator machine. There is considerable tangling of sleeves and legs of garments and twisted sheets. Would Not RecommendI received two defective washing machines. The cold water sensor, which is required for the rinse cycle, would end the cycle after the wash cycle. It would not progress to the rinse or spin cycle. The Lowe’s representatives were very helpful in arranging a return pickup.

Would Not RecommendLG WT6100CW Top Load can't disable chime/melody Dryer is the same way. There is no signal button and online suggestions to hold cold button for 3 to 5 sec does not work (it only has a temp select button and that does not work either). Called LG service and they said there was no option to turn off. For me it's the equivalent of a smoke alarm peeping everytime you flip a light switch or use a door. Very triggering.
