Washer Drain Pump Failures

We aquired this washing machine with the house we purchased and with in 30 days the drain pump failed. We purchased an OEM pump to replace the old and installed. Worked fine for 6 months until the drain pump failed again. We have subsequently replaced the pump three times over the last year and it has failed again. I am not sure what is causing these pumps to fail but it is very frustrating. Has there been a service alert on these pumps? Is there an alternative pump that does not fail? Does anyo...

Solid Washing Machine

I bought this Washing Machine in August of 2017. No issues for 7 years and then it finally just broke.

Failed pump

Bad stuff

LG supposed to be a good brand ( they claim 10 years warranty for their products , but design them to fail costumers around 4, or 5 years of use ) meanwhile a repair will be done the first year ( sometime more than once) , it’s better to get an extended warranty ( the maximum offered by the stores is a 5 years one) looking like a perfect designed scheme isn’t? . It’s basically done by a lot of other brands too . You should know that people work hard for their money to invest in appliances only. ...

Failure of Drain Pump

After 6 1/2 years of great service, my WM3270CW front loader, refused to empty. I removed the drain pump and attached voltage. It appeared to work. But upon re-install, the washer did not drain. I installed a new one and it now functions well. However, when I disassembled the drain pump, it was full of sludge from the many years of build up. What a no-brained!

Not only is the tub bigger, but the sensor can adjust the load, but the machine can fill the correct amount of water for the appropriate load. Move over 2001, this new brained saves water and energy! Yes!

Perfect Washer

Modern, easy to use, diverse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer for about three months now. I love its modern look. It's quiet, even in high spinning mode. I like that I have a lot of wash options to choose from especially the quick wash cycle. It's a life saver when you need a really quick wash. One thing I like and don't like which is I know is an efficiency issue, is how little water it uses. Some times clothes with stains won't go away cause of that. Otherwise it's a great machine

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 4 1/2 years ago. I particularly wanted the Pre-Wash option, which for some reason was not on the other washers I considered. The only issue I had was just lately...the wire that holds the rubber gasket on around the door opening came loose. Fortunately, I had a service warranty and they came out and put it back on quickly. The service tech told me that this is one of the best washers he's seen on the market.
