LG Refrigerator and ice maker

Do not buy this product I had ice maker installed in my new refrigerator and it never produced ice. Bought product November 11, 2023 it is now December 22, 2023. Lowes has no communication between warehouse and store. New ice maker was to be a replacement but it got sent to Chicago then was on back order. Till the middle of December. Total miscommunication thuru the whole ordeal. Do not purchase a LG appliance. Corporate won't even keep their promises. My $129 warranty doesn't cover the ice make...

Good ice machine, worth the cost.

The delivery men, Angel and Filipe were wonderful. They were on time, assessed the challenges in my 120+ year old home, fast, efficient, friendly, polite and a pleasure to work with.

Ice Maker is defective

Ice maker stops producing ice. It comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty but I'm surprised that it has failed only after 5 months. LG has not been easy to work with on getting a warranty replacement.

Love my new ice maker

Its great to have an ice maker as my family goes through 5 trays of ice on two days. It works great!

Ice Maker Installation

Product is fine, installation horrible. Lowe’s installed it incorrectly. Water leaking all over the floor. Had to hire a plumber to fix it. Even Lowe’s “best tech” didn’t fix the issue. Just left.

I’ll never run out of ice

Easily installed by myself. Makes a lot of ice in a small amount of time!

Ok, but opened box with missing parts

The first one given to me was already opened, and, as it turned out through the return and reordering process, a part was missing that kept the water flowing into the maker. As a result, water collected in the freezer and ice bucket. Moral: dont accept opened packages from stores that dont install, and people who dont know how to install. New product, with all its parts, works great!

Lowe's not asking about the big purchases

the ice maker may be fine. I thought I was going to be filling out a survey on the refrigerator we also bought but for whatever reason, Lowe's has chosen to NOT ask us about this purchase.
