Good fridge for the money
The outside and inside look nice and plenty of space for food , installation of ice maker did not have instructions how to install the water tube behind the fridge and cover did not fit once i installed the water valve , it needs to be redesigned to fit , had to cut and bent to make it fit , so far is performing well and keeping tempetatures well , also quite silent for a inverter compresor .
The picture of the water valve is backwards.
The only problem encountered was the plugging in of the water valve. It took a few try’s before I was successful. Once plugged in it works really well.

LG has not done anything to correct the problem. simple fix for manufacturer
Would Not RecommendProblem with this is that there is a built in 2 prong plug on rear wall of freezer and ice maker has a 6-prong tube plug which will not plug in to freezer socket would appear to me since this has been going on for some time the LG should make an adapter to make these 2 different electrical connections to fit. Get help when installing
Would Not RecommendDidn’t like that it didn’t tell you a lot of things in the book. Also installers installed it incorrectly and we had to get service out here to fix it. It is also very loud during the dumping of the ice and filling up process.

Customer Care does not know what they're doing!
Would Not RecommendPurchased because Customer Care told me that Lowe's is able to install the ice maker. They don't! Hired a plumber to install it and the part does not fit. LG and Lowe's both claim it's the correct part. Now waiting on Lowe's service to look at it. Still waiting to hear from service!

Would Not Recommendthe ice maker fit inside the freezer no problem. the hose and pump on the back doesn't fit. pre drilled holes are not accurate. part that fits into freezer at top does not fit. I will be returning this. a huge waste of my time trying to get this thing to fit. I'll go buy ice trays for $5 and make ice that way.
