Quiet modern air conditioner

I purchased this air conditioner to replace my old one which was getting loud. This one is much quieter! When you turn it on, it quietly and gradually starts blowing out cold air. There are never any sudden "clunking" noises, the compressor goes in and out of operation without you even noticing. So far I'm very happy with this air conditioner!

Quiet Cool Comfort

I purchased this AC unit a month ago to replace a 10 year old unit that was way too loud. This unit is very quiet even at its high fan speed. The app works great so I can cool my apartment before I get home. I still have not had summer 90+ degrees temperature but I am confident it will perform just fine.

Some good featurs a few not

I like it also as it is WiFi connected. Don't like the fact that the fan speed is only manually controlled. Great Window Air Conditioner

By far one of the best window air conditioners on the market!! Easy to use, great features and it’s so quiet!!! I had another major brand window air conditioner and it was super loud and conked out after 2 years. I’m glad that I purchased the LG LW1022IVSM!

Great window AC

This window AC is one of the best ones I have had! Since the compressor is an inverter there is no loud noise made when it goes on like a traditional AC. Another cool thing is the inverter technology allows it to modulate the power of the compressor. This saves a ton of energy and makes it well worth the extra cost!

Impresive air conditioner.

The air conditioner with the dual inverter is so quiet that the I think the fan makes the most noise. I can stand right in front of the unit when it is on high and hold a conversation with out raising my voice. I can feel a breeze 20 feet away from the conditioner. It cools the room very well. Thinking of replacing my other unit with one of these.

Smart, Well-Designed and Quiet!

Very modern, beautiful minimalist design, smart, connects to my WiFi network and works with Alexa, and super quiet with Dual Inverter technology. Easy to operate with the LG ThinQ app or Alexa voice commands. I like the Dry cooling feature for rainy days to dehumidify the room. I bought two units for my two bedroom apartment in Brooklyn and they cool the entire apt down very quickly. Would definitely recommend. Also, LG has great customer service!

Honest Review, after 1.5 years of ownership.

I bought this a/c to cool down my mobile home (living and kitchen) total about 800sqft. I don’t have Central a/c and my entire house is cooled by Window units. I live in DFW TEXAS, where we get 100 degree summers for 2-3 months straight. I will not lie to you, I leave this machine running 24/7 in the winter and it hasn’t not skipped a beat! amazingly quiet and efficient.

I replaced an older 10,000btu unit that i pursed about 10 years ago. The wife was just tired of how loud the old one was, which at the time of purchase, wasnt rated that bad. Very good quiet ac

I bought this unit to use mostly during power failures post hurricane. It is extremely quiet, cools very well, and is efficient which is important for me using solar/ battery backup or small portable generator. I’ve tested it in both my bedroom+bath(350 sq ft) and LR open to kitchen (800 sq ft) The inverter is well worth the extra cost in a bedroom. Worst air conditioner I've ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several attempts and numerous parts installed I spent an entire summer roasting because this air conditioner never worked.

Epic Fail

I purchased my LG in June, 2022. It already failed at 3 months, appears to be out of coolant? We called and set up a service appointment. The first appointment was Sept. 19th and we were ghosted. It worked great for about 2 months though!
